FR Clothing Frequently Asked Questions
1. How frequently should FR Clothing be replaced?
FR Clothing should be worn until it becomes faded, frayed, compromised, or ripped, at which point the garment should be retired from use. MWG Apparel backs all clothing purchases with an extended warranty, replacing any defective or damaged product (but not regular wear and tear damage).
2. How should FR Clothing be washed?
Here are the washing directions we provide for MWG Apparel items (usually applicable to other brands):
- Only wash as often as needed
- Turn clothing inside out to wash
- Don’t use commercial laundromats or dry-clean
- Machine wash in warm water; tumble dry low
- Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, DEET, or flammable materials on clothing
3. Do we accept returns or exchanges?
Yes, we do. You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. The item(s) must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. Custom and embellished items are a final sale. Your item(s) must be in the original packaging and include the original sales receipt. MWG Apparel is not responsible for return shipping charges. Please allow 30 days for returns processing to be completed. Credit will be issued at that time.
4. Do we offer repairs on used clothing?
At MWG Apparel, we back every purchase with an extended warranty and offer repair or replacement for rips and tears. Manufacturing defects will be cared for, repaired, or replaced by MWG Apparel at no additional charge. For small tears, rips, and other damage, MWG Apparel will repair garments at our factory or at repair depots set up for larger programs. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of these repairs.
6. What is included in your Corporate Programs?
Our Corporate Programs offer a streamlined online ordering system for flame-resistant (FR) clothing, featuring:

7. Do we offer in-house corporate logo development and application?
With our Corporate Program, you can add your logo, choose company colors, and create custom FR uniforms for different teams in your facility with ease. You’ll have an MWG Apparel safety & design expert to guide you through the selection and ordering process and access to a handy online dashboard to keep track of your orders and shipping.Our experts ensure logo placement complies with safety and high-visibility standards, maintaining your brand's consistency and professionalism.
8. How do I get my logo added to my order? Is there an additional cost?
MWG Apparel offers in-house logo development and application. An image of your logo, preferably a vector file, is required for the initial set up. The development for an embroidered or heat-applied logo will be a few business days. When a sample is ready, a proof of the finished logo will be sent for approval. When the logo and placement have received approval, an invoice will be issued for the development and application and will be applied to your order.
9. How long does delivery usually take?
Orders are processed and shipped within 4-7 business days. Shipping costs are based on order weight and delivery method. Sales tax is charged according to the province, territory or state to which the item(s) is shipped. We are proud to offer free shipping on all orders over $100 in the United States (US) and Canada.
10. Do you offer discounts based on volume?

MWG Apparel provides wear trials of our FR clothing to new corporate customers as part of our commitment to ensuring workplace safety and satisfaction. This program allows companies to test our FR Clothing under real working conditions, giving employees firsthand experience with the comfort, durability, and protection our garments offer.
