Men's Sizing Information

Getting the right fit ensures both comfort and protection. MWG Apparel men’s FR shirts and pants are designed with accurate sizing, but it’s important to consider the natural shrinkage of flame-resistant fabrics. These pants will shrink about 1" in length during the first 25 washings, and up to 2" in total after 50 washings. We recommend ordering with sufficient length to account for this progressive shrinkage.

A proper fit is essential for comfort, mobility, and safety on the job. Women’s and men’s bodies are not the same, and a “unisex” fit often fails to provide the protection women need. That’s why MWG Apparel designs women’s-specific FR shirts and pants that are tailored to the female body, while maintaining the same high standards of durability and protection.

How to Measure

SLEEVE LENGTH: With arm relaxed at the side and slightly bent, measure from center back neck, over point of shoulder, down outside of arm or wrist.

CHEST/BUST: For chest, measure just under arms and across shoulder blades, holding tape firm and level. For bust, measure at the fullest point of the bust.

NECK: Measure a shirt collar that fits you well. Lay collar flat. Measure from center of collar button to far end of opposite buttonhole.

WAIST: Measure around the narrowest point of your waist line.

HIPS: Measure around fullest point of seat while standing.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit well. Lay them flat, with front and back creased smooth. Measure along inseam from crotch to bottom of leg hem.

What is normal wear and tear?

No matter how well you take care of our gear, nothing lasts forever. Clothing worn and washed regularly will eventually degrade and no longer perform as designed. Signs of aging such as fading fabric, frayed cuffs and collar, stains and stench, should be carefully considered when evaluating applicability for warranty. We do our best to avoid the need for replacement, but eventually, that time does come.

What isn't covered by our warranty?

Improper care is not covered by our warranty. Upon your purchase, consult our Washing & Care instructions. These instructions can be found on each product page and on the tag of each garment. 

Repairs

We do our part to reduce waste and save you money by extending the lifespan of each garment with repair services. Manufacturing defects will be cared for, repaired, or replaced by MWG Apparel at no additional charge. For small tears, rips, and other damage, MWG Apparel will repair garments at our factory or at repair depots set up for larger programs. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of these repairs.
